Are infusions painful?
The level of pain experienced during an infusion can vary depending on several factors, including the individual's pain tolerance, the specific medication or fluids being administered, and the technique used for catheter insertion. The initial insertion of the catheter into the vein may cause some discomfort or a brief pinching sensation.
